Small “vintage” styled local at the neighborhood of “Lavapiés”, just a couple of minutes away from Reina Sofía museum. I tried a couple of excellent creamy croquettes (two pieces for 2.60 €), one of truffle and another one of “carrillera” (the cheek of the pig). They have some burgers, I ate the “completa” with bacon and egg (10 €), really well done, with some excellent French fries done as crisps/bag chips. To drink I chose an artisan beer from a local brewery (Panda beer). For dessert, a nice carrot cake (5 €). There are a few other tapas, both Spanish and from Asia, I´ll try some next time. A really, really good and nice place.
They open at mornings, you can have some cakes for breakfast (carrot, lemon, chocolate…), if they are as good as my carrot cake I would like to try them all. On weekends they close at 2 in the morning, so you can go and drink any of the cocktails they offer.
